Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I have been to 4 Final Fours and by far and away the fans most likely to show up in a blazer were rooting for the team that traveled from Durham, NC. Lovely blue blazers or white sweaters draped over a blue polo shirt was the typical male attire.
Of course i don't think UVA hasn't been to a (mens) final four since Ralph Sampson so maybe they are worse and I just don't know it.

UVa went to a Final Four, forget the year, after Sampson graduated. With Othell Wilson at point. But I more recall Sampson's last 2 college losses - both to the Cardiac Pack in ACC Tourney and West Regional Finals.
And I must agree with you about Duke alumni over 50 - I call them the Scotch and Seconal crowd because they don't make any noise. And is there anything dumber looking than the freakin' beanies with devil horns? But don't worry - I doubt we'll be at the Final Four this year (though I like our chances to play for that right - the teams that look good to me at this very early stage are Wake, UNC, G-Town and UConn - all have speed and size).
